About our hotels
What is the St Pancras Hotel Group?
We are a family-run hotel group that has welcomed guests in King's Cross St Pancras since the 1970s. We offer three hotels in one building at 31 Argyle Street, London WC1H 8EP: The Princess (2-star budget rooms with shared bathrooms), The Jesmond Dene (3-star rooms with private bathrooms) and The Suites (4-star suites for 2 to 5 people with kitchenettes and air conditioning). We are proud to be in the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.
Which of your three hotels should I choose?
Choose The Princess if you want the lowest price for a short stay and don't mind a shared bathroom. Choose The Jesmond Dene if you want a modern, refurbished room with your own private bathroom and power shower. Choose The Suites if you need more space, are travelling as a family or group of up to 5, want a kitchenette, or are staying longer.
Are all three hotels in the same building?
Yes. The Princess, The Jesmond Dene and The Suites share one address, 31 Argyle Street, and one 24-hour reception, so groups can book different room types and still stay together.

Booking and policies
What is the best way to book?
Book directly on our website or with our reservations team. Booking direct comes with our best rate guarantee: you will always get a lower price than on any other website.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer two types of rate, and the cancellation terms depend on which one you choose when you book.
Best Available Rate (our lowest price): prepaid and non-refundable. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking and cannot be refunded if you cancel or change your booking.
Flexible rate: free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, and no-shows, are charged in full.
Why 30 days? We are a small, family-run hotel opposite King's Cross St Pancras, and our rooms are in high demand all year round, often fully booked weeks in advance. When a booking is cancelled at short notice, the room usually goes unsold, and another guest who wanted to stay with us has already been turned away. A 30-day window gives us time to offer released rooms to other travellers, and it helps us keep our rates fair for everyone.
We strongly recommend travel insurance, especially if you are travelling from overseas, so that you're covered if your plans change unexpectedly. If you need to change your dates rather than cancel, please contact us and we will always try to help where we can.
Do I need to pay a deposit, and which payment methods do you accept?
Best Available Rates are prepaid, so payment is taken in full at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards.
Are children welcome?
Yes. We are a family-friendly property and guests of all ages are welcome. Cots are available on request.
Do you accept pets?
Sorry, we are unable to accept pets.
Is there a minimum age to check in?
Yes. The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and show photo ID at check-in.
